Operation Legacy Fundraiser
Every weekend, Walnut Street Field becomes the heart of Salem City. The players and spectators who attend events deserve to host opposing teams at a sports complex they can be proud of. These hardworking players deserve a field to match their dedication to excellence. Community members and organizations are rallying to invest in our youth and public safety. We need your support to restore the complex and are asking for donations toward continuing the longstanding tradition of Ram Pride.
This project is a collaborative effort between Stand Up For Salem, the City of Salem, city residents, & various organizations. The purpose is to repair Walnut Street Field in phases, ending in a complete restoration of the bleachers, field, track, and fixtures so that it is accessible and safe for games and public enjoyment.

Phase One of this project is restoration of the home team bleachers, which have become a safety hazard and an eyesore. The goal is to raise funds to execute Phase One of this project before the 2022 football season.
This is going to take everyone’s effort.

You can help by sponsoring a seat. We intend to honor your donation with an engraved metal plate attached to the bleachers. You will be contributing to building the Ram legacy while branding yourself, business, group or family as one that supports the community.
